Pro-X Hardware is what the demanding EX'er wants of the industry for research solid propellant motor cases and hardware! All cases area 6061 Aluminum, anodized brilliant purple. A complete motor includes motor case, forward closure, graphite nozzle, nozzle washer, and snap rings. A thrust ring is needed (order separately) to provide surface area to lift motor and rocket. Nozzles are sold blank with chamfer - they are not cored, you make the final core hole based on your calculations.
Pro-X hardware is not compatible with any commercial reloads such as
Aerotech, Ellis Mountain, Animal Motor Works, Kosdon, etc.
Do not use a PRO-X case with any commercial reload!
You manufacture the propellant grains yourself. Forward closures do not contain a black powder well charge - you will need to make recovery charges and use an altimiter or timer for recovery deployment. The 54 mm hardware pieces, excluding the case, are backward compatible with Animal Motor Works 54 mm cases. - That means you can use an AMW case with the PRO-X hardware parts.
